Social networking sites are too public for most activities with one's inner circle of friends and family. While such sites are useful for meeting new people or reconnecting with old contacts, most social interactions with an inner circle of friends and family require privacy.

People also need separation between different circles of friends & family, e.g., friends v. family, immediate family v. extended family, coworkers, golf buddies, etc.

Innercircle.cc seeks to enhance private interactions within people's inner circles, whether it is for sharing thoughts, sharing photos, coordinating group events and trips, telling friends about new products and services or news stories, collaborating on work-related projects, or just keeping in touch.
